We reply within two business days. Never send us your master password or recovery code: we will never ask for them.
Getting started
HelloHQ is free to start. The Free plan is HelloHQ on your own devices, encrypted with a master password only you hold.
Signing in and recovery
Your data is encrypted on your devices with your master password. We cannot reset it, and we cannot read your data.
If you forget your master password or set up a new device, use your Emergency Kit: the printable sheet with your recovery code. With your Emergency Kit and your master password, you can get back in on a new device. Without your recovery materials, no one, including us, can open your data.
Plans and billing
Plans are bought in the HelloHQ desktop app or on this website. The iPhone app does not sell plans: it shows the plan you already have, and a plan bought on desktop or here works on every device you sign in to.
To change or cancel a plan, sign in to your account page and choose Manage subscription. Only an admin of an organization can manage its subscription. If you cancel, you keep your plan’s features until the end of the billing period.
Deleting your account
In the app, go to Settings › Account and choose Delete account. This closes your account and signs you out everywhere immediately. Your data is then scheduled for permanent deletion and cannot be restored.
If you are the only member of an organization on a paid plan, that plan stops renewing and ends with your account. Organizations you share with others keep their plan.
